The Thief

Rosy was in the garden, watering the plants. Suddenly, she saw a thief. So she ran and told her mother that she saw a thief. Then her mother looked around but couldn’t find the thief in the garden.

“Where is the thief, Rosy?” her mother asked.

“He was here. I saw him,” Rosy said.

“OK, then let’s check the rooms,” her mother replied.

They both went inside the house, and Mom saw a thief in Rosy’s room, stealing her doll and other toys.

“I found the thief, Rosy,” her mother whispered.

“I am scared, Mother,” Rosy replied.

The thief saw them coming and ran out of the room. Rosy ran after him and caught him. She took her doll and her other toys from him.

Rosy was happy, but the thief was sad. Feeling bad for him, Rosy gave the thief her old toys. The thief was delighted and said I was stealing this for my daughter.

Listening to that, Rosy gave him her new toys as well.

Thief said thank you, I will never steal things from now on.

Rosy’s mother, with happiness, said, “You gave him your toys! You are such a kind girl.”

Rosy was sad but also happy that the thief was no longer stealing. And he became a good man forever.
