SDG : Sustainable Development Goals
Universal Goals need to be adopted
For a sustainable future to be created.
These are the goals of the SDGs,
Read this poem and you’ll know about these.
Number 1 is “No Poverty”,
Follow this for a better economy.
Number 2 is “Zero Hunger”,
Aiming to end hunger and promote agriculture.
Number 3 is “Good Health and Well-being”,
Aiming to ensure healthy lives and fight epidemics.
Number 4 is “Quality Education”,
Saving the lives of hundreds of children.
“Gender Equality” is next in line,
Respect all genders and you’ll be fine.
Number 6 is “Clean Water and Sanitation”,
These are people’s rights and expectations.
“Affordable and Clean Energy” is number 7
Following this will make Earth as clean as heaven.
Number 8 is “Decent Work and Economic Growth”,
To make this accurate, let’s take an oath.
Number 9 is “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”,
With it, we can change the world’s economic structure.
Next in line is “Reduced Equality”
In all cases, always support equality.
Number 11 is “Sustainable Cities and Communities”,
This is a step forward for the betterment of society.
Number 12 is “Responsible Consumption and Production”
Follow this and you’ll be on the right.
Number 13 is “Climate Action”
Do nothing that will be a reason for its destruction.
Next is “Life Below Water”,
Respect it and you’ll be happier later.
Number 15 is “Life on Land”,
To protect it, let’s all lend a hand.
Number 16 is “Peace and Justice”; that’s what we need.
To make this world a better place to live.
Number 17 is “Partnership for the Goals”,
For shaping the world, it will play a significant role.
These were the seventeen SDG goals,
Follow these and you’ll be a superhuman and more.
