Subhash Chandra Bose: A Man Of Courage

Subhash Chandra Bose was one of the greatest freedom fighters our country, Bharat, has ever witnessed in the struggle for freedom. He was the son of a famous lawyer. Recently, I read about him and came across some interesting and inspiring aspects of his life.

Though he hailed from Bengal, he didn’t know how to speak Bengali during his childhood. However, with dedication, he not only mastered it but also excelled in Bengali and other subjects in school. This commitment continued, leading him to secure the second position in the university. This serves as great motivation for me to tackle challenging subjects.

Another touching event from his life occurred when, witnessing the plight of the poor, he decided to help them. Without spending a single penny from his pocket money, he distributed it among the needy. This kindness was reciprocated, leading to his election as the president of the National Congress. He initiated the establishment of numerous hospitals, libraries, etc., for the welfare of the people.

Subhash Chandra Bose played a crucial role in forming the Indian National Army (INA), which fought fiercely against the British. He was a caring and loving leader.

His famous quote resounds:

“Give me blood, and I will give you freedom!” – Subhash Chandra Bose
