Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel : Freedom fighter you must know
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was known as the Iron Man of India, one of the great leaders of the country.
Vallabhbhai was born on 31 October 1875, in Nadiad, Gujarat. His father, Jhaverbhai, was a poor farmer, and his mother, Ladba, took care of the household.
Vallabhbhai was brave; he rebelled against injustice. His ambition was to become a barrister, and he wanted to go to England for it, but he couldn’t afford the money. He borrowed books from his brother, who was a lawyer. He read the books and passed the exam. In a short time, he became a lawyer.
He was so sincere in his duty that one day when he had to appear for an important case, a note came saying his wife had died, but he didn’t express anything until the case ended. It speaks volumes about his dedication to his duties.
Vallabhbhai played a crucial role in making India one nation. He brought fragments of small kingdoms together and built the vast country we have today.
I salute this great leader whose life teaches us profound lessons.
