There was a boy called Mac.

His favourite video game name was cripto hack.

He would always play it in school.

So his teacher thought he was a fool.

His friend gave a sac which had one lack of crypto hack.

There was a girl named Jane.

She lived in a small lane.

Jane was five year old,

She loved paper which she could fold.

Her brother’s name was Kane.

There was a small child named Kane.

He loved to play in the rain.

He’d play with the man from the fruit stall,

Who would always fall.

His T-shirt had a big stain.

 

Question – What is Limerick?

Answer – A limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines.

Question – How to write Limerick ?

Answer – Limericks consist of a single stanza with AABBA rhyme scheme. A rhyme on the first, second, and fifth lines, and a second rhyme on the third and fourth lines.

 

This limerick was created as part of a Word Munchers workshop conducted at Calcutta International School.
