Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief : Book review
I got this book from my library. It is a wonderful story about fantasy, which is my favourite genre. It is written by Rick Riordan. The cover page of this book is striking and attractive and shows a boy holding a spear made of lightning.
The story takes place in the wonderful city of New York. Percy, the main character of this book, is a 12 year old young boy who finds out that he is not a normal kid but is the son of a God. Being a half blood, monsters tried to eat Percy all the time.
I think this book is very interesting and is a must read. The author Rick Riordan has used good metaphors and words to write the book.
In my opinion, the book is better than the movie. I have read many other books, but I liked this the best because of its fascinating plot and writing style. I think ages 8+ would understand and like this book well.
Out of five, I give this book 5 stars!
