No Victor Emerges From War

No victor emerges from war;
Our souls now bear a lasting scar.
The cries of our loved ones still remain;
Thousands of lives were lost in vain.

Our own kin have turned away,
Sealing our fate through night and day.
We’ve let hatred ignite,
Leading us to fight hopelessly.

When the wars are done,
Our heart weighs a heavy ton.
Every soul mourns in pain;
The loss in our lives will forever remain.
