Love of Grandfather
Gullak – Coin Bank
Rudransh Mishra, 8 years old, lives in Delhi and loves reading stories, collecting coins in his gullak, and playing in the park. But what he loves most is spending time with his grandfather — even if his grandfather doesn’t say much.

Dadu – The loving grandfather
His grandfather, Mahesh Prasad Mishra, is a retired principal who lives in the quiet village of Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. Dadu, as Rudransh lovingly calls him, doesn’t express love with words or hugs. But Rudransh sees it in the way he puts money in his gullak every time he visits, or how he takes him to the park and quietly watches him play, or how he never scolds him, even when he spoils the TV remote.
When Rudransh visits the village, his Dadu makes sure there is pure milk, lots of fruits, and everything ready — all for his comfort. Even though Rudransh doesn’t eat much fruit, Dadu brings them anyway — just in case. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t ask for attention — but is always there, silently working in the background.
Rudransh may be young, but he understands something very special:
Sometimes the biggest love is shown in the smallest ways.
And that’s exactly the kind of love his Dadu gives him every single time.
