Limerick : Boy who lived in a haystack

There was a boy called Mac

Who lived in a haystack

And he loved to eat Rats

And he had lots of Cats

And one of his friends gave him a smack.

Answer – A limerick is a humorous poem consisting of five lines.

Question – How to write Limerick ?

Answer – Limericks consist of a single stanza with AABBA rhyme scheme. A rhyme on the first, second, and fifth lines, and a second rhyme on the third and fourth lines.

This limerick was created as part of a Word Munchers workshop conducted at Calcutta International School.
