Jawaharlal Nehru: An Inspiration
Jawaharlal Nehru was a freedom fighter of India. He was also the first Prime Minister of India for 17 years. He was born on November 14, 1889, in Allahabad.
An inspiring thing about him is that he fought for India’s freedom, even if it meant sacrificing his own freedom. He went to many different prisons because of this, yet he did not stop.
When he was the Prime Minister, he thought it was unfair that landlords took lots of money from the poor so they could live in their houses. Hence, he abolished the system of landlords. It is nice of him to have sympathy for the poor, even though he was born into a rich family. He helped the poor by abolishing the cruel systems.
This inspires me to fight against the wrong systems and contribute to the betterment of our country.
