Daydreaming on a boring school day I Poem By Nakshatra ,11, Bangalore

It is a boring day today,
it’s hard to come to school and stay 

No presentation nor work to do,
I am dying to get up and move 

I feel like playing lock and key

If anyone is active in the class it is me

I want to play hide-and-seek or chase a mouse who says squeak

I want to go on an adventure, 

sitting in one place gives me torture Instead of sitting in this room,
I would at least mop or clean with the broom

I want to go to Australia or travel to Mesopotamia
Hatching up on a challenging mystery, instead of experiencing misery .
