CHRISTMAS FANTASY
One day, while I was busy making a snowman in front of my lawn on Christmas Eve, an unknown man came and stood before me. He introduced himself as Steven, mentioning that he had recently moved into our neighbourhood and was throwing a Christmas party at his house, to which I was invited. Initially taken aback when he said, “I was invited,” I thanked him and assured him that I would attend his party.
For some time, I wondered why Steven had invited me, but later, I decided to go and have some fun. Sometime before midnight, as I entered his house, I was astounded. The house was decorated with many colourful lights, and the tables were overflowing with snacks and drinks. The music was thoughtfully chosen, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree stood in the corner. I met most of my neighbours and a few of Steven’s friends. The mood of the party was picking up, and I was thoroughly enjoying myself. Just two minutes before midnight, everyone started the countdown. When the clock struck zero, people shouted “Merry Christmas,” and the music turned to “jingle bells.” It was truly a wonderful party.
I was glad that Steven invited me to his party. At one in the morning, I embraced Steven, thanked him for a wonderful evening, and returned home to catch up on my sleep.
