Sara’s Story of Kindness and Bravery
The Incident
Once there lived a girl named Sara. One day she was sleeping in the class and had put her head down on the table. Suddenly her wig fell down. One boy named Amit saw this and he shouted “look this girl has no hair” everyone in the classroom had laughed at the girl, but the girl didn’t say anything, and she just went home.
Sara’s Absence
The next morning everyone was in the classroom, except Sara. Amit who had taken Sara’s wig, asked the teacher about Sara.
The teacher did not know what to tell Amit, so she just smiled and said “don’t worry about Sara. She will be fine”.
Days turned into weeks.
Amit Visits Sara
Amit didn’t understand what teacher said to him. He decided to go to her house and meet her.
When he visited her house in the evening, he met her mom and dad there.
He asked them why Sara is not coming to school since last few days.
Sara’s Mom knew about the wig incident happened in school. But without mentioning it, she told him that last month Sara and her cousin brother were playing football in the garden, and the ball went in the middle of the road. Her cousin did not saw a car coming. But Sara saw this and Sara run fast and pushed him away from the road.
The car hit her. Sara was injured badly due to that and underwent surgery of brain that’s why doctor cut her hair and so she needs to wear that wig for next few months till her hair grows properly.
Amit Feels Guilty
Her mom got emotional while speaking this. Amit also had tears in his eyes. Her mom said she was proud of her daughter. Her kindness and bravery are example for many. Amit understood his mistake and asked her mom if he can meet Sara and apologize her.
The Apology
When Sara came in the living room Amit started crying.
He apologized Sara about the wig fall incident and said he felt very bad about his rude behaviour.
He said he didn’t mean to hurt emotions of her, he just trying to be funny in front of his friends. He asked to forgive him and accept his friendship.
He said that he got so much inspired from her and he promised her that now he will be kind and help people around him.
A New Friendship
Sara smiled and said she accepted his friendship, so they became friends forever and lived happily.
