Autobiography of an Oasis
Sahara Desert

In the Sahara Desert, a lifeline for humans, birds, and every creature known to man was created. The oasis is known as me, or a ‘drop of heaven.’ It was discovered by a group of archaeologists in the centre of the Sahara Desert.
Oasis – Drop Of Heaven

The archaeologists were parched but did not want to leave until they found the dire wolves’ fossils. At the same time, searching for the fossils, they found me. At last, my period of repose was over. I was awakened.
A few centuries later, I am a tranquil and healthy oasis with a few visitors and travellers now and then.
Every day, I wake up listening to the sound of birds chirping and snakes hissing, looking for their next prey. I am home to over seventy-five species of birds and animals. One day I woke up listening to the sounds of chops, to my horror I saw that my fellow trees were being cut.
Three trees were being cut every day for a week. I had lost almost all my beauty. It was the rain who saved me, it made me strong and healthy. But here I am fifteen years later but still dreaming about those days when lived with pride every night.
