Madhubani Art

Madhubani is an old art of painting from Mithila region. Since lock down I have been browsing different types of craft/ arts. After seeing these pieces of Madhubani painting I got really attracted towards it. I saw artists use scenes from Ramayana, fish motifs, tree of life and many more.

It was done using black, red, green, yellow colour themes. Sometimes artists used black and off white themes. I had a marker pen which was not much used by me. So I decided to contemporaries the art. I used the pot, fish, girl , mushroom and many more motives. Decorated it with intricate design. I wish to develop it further.
