A Day of Compassion | Story by Anshu, 10, Bangalore
Can compassion give us joy? 10-year-old Anshu from Bangalore shows us it is possible in this sweet story.
It was a beautiful day.
My best friends Arjun and Vivek were playing outside.
Suddenly, they saw a dog and its little puppies. Intrigued, they went closer to realise what had happened to the dog. They couldn’t believe that the hind legs of the dog were broken.
They had an idea, what if they kept the dog until it recovered?
They agreed and took him to the vet. To their surprise, the dog recovered soon. The friends felt happy and decided to keep the dog and the little ones as well.
Finally, they convinced their parents and took good care of them.
What a fun day it was!
