A Conversation Between Clothes And A Cupboard

SKIRT AND SHIRT-Uh! Don’t you have any ventilation? It is getting extremely hard to breathe in here.

CUPBOARD: Tell all of your friends to space out a bit; maybe that’ll help.

DRESSES (IN CHORUS) How will we move? We don’t have feet to walk, unlike Samaira.

CUPBOARD- After listening to all your magnificent stories of traveling the world with Samaira, I feel so jealous!!! Stuck here till eternity!!!!!!

Dresses: But you are the most comfortable place for us!! There is no place more comfortable and loving than you!!!

CUPBOARD-Oh! You love me so much. This love is what drives me to stay fit and young for you all.

SKIRT AND SHIRT—Ahh, but why have you allowed this creepy cockroach in with us, dear cupboard?

Cupboard: Do you not know that Samaira put that fake cockroach in here to prevent her notorious brother from stealing the chocolates from the drawer?

SKIRT AND SHIRT: She is very clever, isn’t she?

Cupboard: She is as smart as Albert Einstein and as lazy as a loon.

Dresses: I just like how she has chosen each one of us for each day of the week.

Cupboard: Think of the angel, and the devil is here!

DRESSES: Her brother is here. Everybody quiet. Shhhh!!
