A Christmas Bake Sale
It was a cold winter morning when the Christmas bake sale was held at the CCFC Club. The event was thoughtfully organized by the club committee for a good cause – to raise money to buy warm blankets for the people in need. The club lawns were beautifully decorated with
Christmas trees, sparkling lights and colourful gifts, creating a joyful and heart – warming atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of the season.
Long tables were set up with delicious treats such as cakes, cookies, apple pies, cupcakes and chocolates. The apple pie was the most popular item, but my personal favourite was the gingerbread cookies. I also enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and cream, which kept me warm in the chilly weather.I went there with my friends to eat, laugh and have fun together. There were around 25 stalls in total. They were selling not only scrumptious food but also a variety of gifts like bags, toys for children and Christmas tree decorations. I felt especially happy knowing that the event was for a good cause and that by buying from the stalls, I was able to contribute in a small way. It was one of the most exciting and memorable days I have ever experienced.
