A Christmas Bake Sale
A Christmas Bake Sale was held in the Bengal Rowing Club on 12th December. The club committee along with its members had organised it.
It was for a good cause as the Club committee members had decided to donate the rewards from this event to a Charitable Trust for children. I went there as a visitor to enjoy the event.
I saw that the club was decorated with an enormous Christmas tree and fairy lights swirled around it. The tables were draped in red and green checkered cloth with golden bells hanging on its edges.
The set up was very lively with music playing as well.
There were thirty stalls, selling a variety of food items like hot chocolate, pizza, chocolate coated marshmallows, pasta, ginger bread cookies decorated with frosting and candies, cupcakes topped with Santa hat design and many more.
My favourites were it’s hot chocolate and marshmallows. I also enjoyed eating pasta, pizza and the ginger bread cookies.
I relished going to the Christmas bake sale as the food was scrumptious and we had gathered together to support a good cause.
