Weary is the Head that Wears Memories over Zeal!
I see him,
More than the mirror could ever.
How the light passes through his broken parts,
His tethered heart,
Cracks and crevices, bold and blunt and shining.
It makes him look pretty, in a painful way,
As if sorrow were personified,
Heavily romanticised.
He has his angels lost, his soul torn apart.
But imperfections build up his beauty.
He is weary in his reverie,
Collecting, holding the ghost of joy.
I come in solace and sincerity,
To heal him from this world,
Build him a little haven where all he has is whirled,
To let the weariness wear away from him,
As his shielding ache is furled.
