A Story of Freedom
Far from the calm meadows, deep into the jungle,
Lies an unclaimed house, which had all the bungle.
With a dark past everybody knows and fears,
The house is filled with tons of broken chandeliers.
All around it is darkness, as far as the eye can see,
Returning from that place usually fills people with glee.
That house belonged to a king, who ruler over many,
But through the years, he didn’t even spare a dime.
The people were sick of this and wanted change,
The king’s acts made people deranged.
He was the worst king they had ever seen,
They had planning, they really had been.
They planned something big, to wipe the king out,
You might be asking what it was about?
With his family away, while he was all alone,
But somehow about the plan, he knew.
He called the guards and had them jailed for life,
It had been wasted, all their strain and strife.
But when a door closes, another opens, for sure,
There were constant rebellions, they were tired of being sad and poor.
Some of them bore fruit, but others did not,
Until one plan succeeded, they finally made him rot.
After continuous efforts, it finally happened one day,
They decided to light the palace on fire with hay.
Only with a spark can a fire be lit,
Whether they be of atoms or grit.
It was all planned out. It just had to be executed,
And along with the plan, even the palace, they looted.
That was the most sinister thing that happened there,
And to talk about it, they don’t even dare.
