Be Grateful
We aren’t as strong as tigers
We can’t swim like dolphins
We can’t fly
But what do we have?
We have blessed arms
We have blessed legs
We have blessed eyes
We have a blood-pumping heart
We have a perfect body
But looks at others
They are blind; they are deaf
They can’t see their loved one’s
They hear their loved one’s
But why are you making fun of them?
They are us
They are our species
But grateful for what we have.
