Letter to my 5-year-old self
Dear 5 year old Aaliyah,
Congratulations! Yesterday was your first day of school. I know you may be wondering who I am or how I know you. Don’t worry I’m not a stalker, I’m you from the future!
I know how you went to school yesterday and reached quite early. Your brother left you in class and you were so scared! Then you got so frightened when a big scary kid claimed the seat you were sitting in. You ran out of the class in tears and a teacher saw you. You got so embarrassed but it’s fine! That’s our favourite teacher. There was nothing to be scared of and I am so proud of you. There is nothing to worry about. But if it’s an emergency, you know who to write to!
And remember, enjoy your childhood, it only comes once in life!
