‘We Children Have Become Computer Savvy’ Essay by 7 year old Bookosmian from Kolkata

Since the coronavirus came to India, we have all been affected. My classes are now held as Zoom meetings.

I continue my extra-curricular classes by attended chess class online on Thursdays. By doing online classes on the computer we children have become computer savvy.

We wear our home clothes when we do our online classes. Every day in the evening after all my classes I play in the garden with my mother, aunt and cousins.

When my school asked us to do online classes I was doubtful but now I am comfortable. I miss going to school in my carpool with my friends.

Sometimes in my online Zoom classes, I see my friends and feel happy. The football class was one of my favourite classes which I am missing a lot. Before my online classes, I do my religious prayers with my mother and grandmother.

In our school, every Friday we used to do art and craft. I miss those classes with my friends. Mostly I would come home from school with chocolate in my hand. I miss those birthday celebrations at school.
Every day during our online classes our Ma’am unmutes a few students and asks them questions. Later, after completing my classes on Zoom, my grandmother who stays in Ahmedabad teaches me religious things.
