#SaraReads: Essay-What if I were….a floor mop!

One day when I woke up, I saw that I was a floor mop. I had a long tail and I was covered with a cloth.I looked at myself in the mirror and I was not bad looking at all! I was in a shop full of bright lights and there were many mops there like me. We waited everyday for someone to take us home.
One day, an uncle came and picked up my friend, the blue mop. I said bye to him and wished someone
would choose me too. The next day, an aunty came and picked me, the pink mop.

I was so happy! She kept me in her car and took me to her house. It was so much fun to ride in a car. We reached her home and she kept me in a bathroom with other brushes and soaps. They welcomed me nicely.

After sometime, a girl came and picked me up. She had put some nice smelling liquid on the floor and I got to drink it all. It was so tasty. Sometimes I drank just plain water and after I was done, the floor looked so clean. Then she gave me a warm bath and let me enjoy the sun outside in the garden.
After I was dry, she took me back to the bathroom. I like my work because I get to drink water and rest a lot.
People come inside to take bath but don’t worry I don’t look!
I like to be a floor mop.
