I want freedom from boredom
And freedom from Corona’s tantrum
Home is the safe place in lockdown
But my mind is going up and down,
I want to go out with friends
And shop at the mall in weekends.
Be it Saturday or Sunday swimming
Or daily evening cycling,
Mama is telling no to Burger King
My birthday went without partying.
I missed beaches and mountain climbing
Even in wonderful weather of spring,
In this pandemic, we kids are sulking
Oh dear God! Now only you can change this thing.
