‘A colourful butterfly, flutters in my mind’ Poem by 8 year old Bookosmian from Mumbai

BUTTERFLIES

I have an empty mind.

A colourful butterfly suddenly flutters inside,

Colourful and beautiful.

Did you know that a boring caterpillar and an ugly pupa can turn into a joyful and happy butterfly?

Even ugly things can turn out happy and colourful.

Butterfly poem by kids Nature with Sara Bookosmia

Butterflies are my friends.

They are so playful,

They are a little shy so whenever I try to touch one, it flies away.

I have chased a butterfly and caught it, with my aunt in a plastic bottle

I let it go after a minute or two .

Whenever I go to Delhi, I see many colourful butterflies in the park,

I see them all fluttering around but I don’t see many in Mumbai.

I love butterflies!
