Online School – My Honest Opinion | Bookosmia

For people who hate classes and love to stay at home, online school is heaven.

For others, who long to go back to school and meet their friends, it’s not so good. But like it or not we all have been forced to attend online classes for a whole year because of the on-going pandemic.

With a year’s experience with it let’s discuss about the online education system.

Like everything else, the online education system has its pros and cons.

The pros are that the online classes are safer than our usual school because we don’t risk getting covid-19 by going out and attending our classes. They are convenient as you don’t have to hurry to school and can attend your classes from where you are.

They are a huge timesaver as the time spent travelling to school is saved and they also give us the flexibility to change and balance our schedules.

The cons include the classes being interrupted by internet problems that make understanding the concepts difficult and not able to learn concepts that are to be learned practically.

Staring at the computer or phone screen all day isn’t good for our eyes (mine certainly hurts a lot).  Everything can’t be understood properly because the number of doubts asked are limited and clarifying some doubts are easier and simpler in physically taught classes.

And lastly, not everybody can afford laptops and computers and a lot of students haven’t been able to attend their classes because of that.

So finally I would prefer physically taught classes over online classes because it is much easier and efficient than online classes.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to return to school after everything is back to normal.
