Have you ever wondered why you criticise yourself when you see yourself in the mirror? Why do you feel sad when you see others who seem better looking than you?

The answer to these questions is simple. It lies in the way you understand the word ‘beauty’.

Society tells us beauty is defined by how fair, or thin we are.

But have we ever thought about what real beauty is?

Real beauty is seen by your nature, your manners and most importantly, your thoughts. Why do you think of becoming fair if you are dark or try to become thin if you are fat? You should be satisfied within yourself. God has made you with a lot of love and care.

So many movies have been made on body shaming like Bala, Ujda Chaman where the message is that if you will not love yourself then how will others love you?

You are the most beautiful person in this world, no one is perfect. Love yourself because you are beautiful, don’t get sad when you see yourself in the mirror. Thank God, that you are still alive and enjoying your life.

I have personally seen many people in my friends circle that they don’t like clicking pictures because they are conscious of how they look.

My request to all my dear friends – delete the word ‘body shaming’ from this world and understand the true meaning of beauty!

Love yourself. You are the most beautiful personality, be happy when you see yourself in the mirror, live your life freely, click photographs as if you are an actor and your fans are waiting outside! Don’t sacrifice your mental health to have the perfect body.
