75 years of Indian independence- Celebrating unity in diversity

From slaves to fighters,
From being betrayed to warriors.
Through power and bravery,
Which followed through their blood.

Exemplified at all sorts,
Profoundly around the roots.
Serving silly ones,
Fighting against all the not so good sons.
Infinite sleepless nights,

Finally giving a way to the day; most bright.

Into the books,
Inside the hearts.
There entered a day of new hope,
Better ones over the rope.

A name to freedom,
A beginning of a unique home.
Home filled with cultures,
Magnanimously filled with various scriptures.

United as one,
For just because of that we did declare ourselves as won.
A day to shout,
When you hold the right for the loudest flaunt.
Not just so called humans,
I witness birds with wings spread in gallons.

Known by unique names,
Yet possessing a single aim.
That for unity,
In diversity!
Independent.

It turns seventy five,
Another deep dive.
Saluting those guards, armymen,
All the able police, serving around, not just at the noon.
Happy 75 years of independence to all Indians!
