‘My life as a big, fat geography book’ Story by 10 year old Bookosmian from Kolkata

I was very tired and went to sleep on my soft bed. The next day I woke up and found that I had turned into a big, fat geography book!

My cover page was filled with lots of drawings like animals, a compass, the earth and a lot of things. When I came down the stairs, my mother was shocked and asked what had happened to me. I replied that I did not know. Then I tried to wear my school uniform but it did not fit me so I went downstairs without wearing anything. Well, except the book cover which thankfully had me covered!

Then I went to eat my breakfast. There were bacon and eggs in my breakfast. When I opened my mouth the whole book opened and by doing so I felt very nice. I also discovered that I had writing inside. Then I packed my bag, finished my breakfast and went to school. I was very nervous to go to school in the form of a book. 

After some minutes I reach school. When I opened the door of my car and entered the school, everyone stared at me and I felt embarrassed. I did not look up and kept walking till I reached my class. After a few minutes of walking I reached my class and quietly sat on my seat. Our ma’am had come and asked me “Who are you?” I replied my name is Rajveer and I am your student. 

We had a long conversation. We started class after sometime. The first subject was geography and there was a surprise test. I was very nervous as I hadn’t prepared for it. But then I remembered, I was a geography book myself! I could look up all the answers. I did very well. The next period was science and we had a surprise test there too. Now I wished I had been a science book. All of the periods ended and I went home.

I was very tired and went to sleep but I was also curious to know what I would look like the next day. 

The next morning I woke up and found that I was in my real form again and I was happy and relieved.
