On July 15, Mr.N.Sankariah, the freedom fighter turned 100 years. I am very proud to be his great grand daughter. He fought for our freedom. He is a great inspiration for youngsters like us.
He was born in the year 1922 in Thoothukudi district, Kovilpatti. He completed his schooling in Kovilpatti and studied in American College in Madurai. He was inspired by our father of India, Mahatma Gandhi ji.
He suffered and went through many struggles and troubles during the Britisher’s rule and yet he didn’t give up and continued to fight for our freedom.
I would like to share some of the advices he has given to us. The first one is ofcourse, discipline. Honesty is important, and working hard in life is really important that is what will help you for your future.
