‘If Everything Were Green’ Poem by 12 year old Bookosmian from Mohali

For me, green is a colour
Of extreme brightness.
It brings glory
And happiness.

Once I began to wonder,
What if everything was green?
None of the other
Colors could be seen.

No jade, purple or crimson
No azure, silver or saffron
No red, white or golden
Just the different shades of green
Would be seen.

Seems shocking, right?
Yes it will be new and different
But beautiful,
With the green leaves’ scent.
