“I gained a lot of patience, confidence and concentration from my art teacher,” says 12 year old  Paavani Shrivastava from Jaipur

Today’s stunning artwork and thoughts around it, are shared by 12 year old  Paavani Shrivastava from Jaipur.

Paavani Shrivastava is a student of, Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur. She has many hobbies such as cooking, reading etc. Her interest in art led her to join the virtual art training sessions by The Hobby Place, where she learnt the wonderful Mandala art.

One day, in the month of May, my mother was browsing on Facebook, when she found out about the online classes for ‘Mandala Art.’

I was not that interested because I had never done it before, or even heard about in Mandala. But, when I started doing it I gained more and more interest.

When I start making the mandala -that feeling can’t be expressed.

I was so happy and excited after each one. The result always made me push myself forward with more dedication towards my work.

When I finished all my Mandala courses (level 1, 2, 3), I started with acrylic painting course.

Right now, I am on the second level of acrylic painting and I have made a plentiful of them.

When I start making them I was not confident enough with the result but as  my teacher guided me, it started looking beautiful and the final result was very satisfying.
