8 year old Saanvi Baheti, a Bookosmian from Bangalore went to charming Chikmagalur in Karnataka and tells us about that trip through an equally charming poem! Share your travel story too!

When I went to Chikmagalur,
I didn’t even wait for a tour.

I tried to cross the Burma Bridge with all my might,
Ouch! The zipline’s hook was toooo tight.

The paddle boat was very old,
Brrrrrr! The lake’s water was very cold.

I got scared of a spider in the lake,
They all shouted “Oh, for goodness sake!”

My mom made me rock,
When I was relaxing on the hammock.

As we ate french fries by the bonfire,
I wish I could go and touch all the stars…
That was my first desire.

Next day, I ran around the sprinklers and fell twice,
That was definitely not nice!

All day long the pups and I played,
And as we left, my smile faded.
